Innovation through Emerging Technologies

This category recognises an organisation or a team that has pushed the boundaries of what is possible to deliver an innovative, impactful and scalable solution using an emerging technology such as GenAI, intelligent automation, big data & analytics, IoT etc. The recipient of the award will have designed advanced cutting-edge solutions to drive business value and unlock doors to greater opportunities and perspectives within shared services.

Evaluation criteria:

  • The submission must demonstrate the use of an emerging technology and have clear and measurable outcomes to outline business value generated
  • The solution should be scalable in the future with a potential impact to reshape or influence the broader organisation/industry

Outstanding Diversity & Inclusion Leader in Shared Services

This category is to recognise an individual or a team that has proven to be a guiding voice and inspiration for championing Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in Shared Services or the wider organisation/community, by creating a people driven culture where all are empowered to ‘bring themselves to work’. The recipient of the award will also be acknowledged for outstanding achievements in overall Leadership and recognising the importance of leading by example and lifting their broader team to enhance performance.

Evaluation criteria:

  • The nominee would be evaluated based on their personal commitment to the cause, and impact on the overall organisational culture
  • The initiatives and activities outlined must demonstrate material impact and influence on the organisation/community with a scope for expansion and influence on a wider audience in the future

Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Impact

This category focuses on recognising organisations that have demonstrated outstanding support and investment in the community, making a remarkable difference in implementing corporate governance, social or environmental change. It acknowledges organisations that have gone above and beyond in the realm of health and wellbeing, or implementing governance frameworks that ensure accountability, integrity, and compliance within their business structures, or sustainability, whether that be employing innovative solutions or making a considerable tangible effort to reduce their carbon footprint.

Evaluation criteria:

  • The nominee would be evaluated based on the overall environmental, social and/or governance strategy of the organisation and the positive impact this has had on employees or the wider community/environment
  • The initiatives and outcomes outlined must demonstrate reasonable impact with potential for scalability and wider influence

Resilience in Shared Services

This category recognises an organisation or a team that has worked together to overcome a challenge and demonstrated exceptional business resiliency to deliver value. It celebrates those who have continuously adapted themselves to changing business environments and implemented robust strategies through strategic visioning and planning, to achieve that podium finish, whilst also embracing innovative thinking to maintain operational continuity and uninterrupted service delivery across their global centres.

Evaluation criteria:

  • Business initiatives, practices or solutions deployed should demonstrate resilience and adaptability in light of highlighted business disruption(s)
  • The outcomes delivered must be measurable and outline scope of the impact created to set an example for the wider shared services industry
