Head of Innovation, Deutsche Bank
Tim draws on 25 years of experience driving strategy to change and transformation in both banking and industry. His experience crosses many functional areas and industries including oil, re-insurance, chemicals, pharma, and consulting, and he has worked and lived across the globe.
For the last 14 years he’s been with Deutsche Bank, undertaking diverse roles from running Tech Strategy bank wide, through tech transformations to see end to end product flows succeed, to op model transformations to reorganise tech infra to act like a product centric business.
Since 2021 as the Managing Director for Product Innovation and the head of the bank’s AI programme, he’s driven the bank’s innovation and AI agenda, from piloting GenAI to realising impact at scale.
With the Indra programme, Tim and the team work with all areas of the organisation with a joint purpose, to enable more AI, driving business value, all while doing this in a safe and responsible way.
Prior to banking, he worked in consulting for 10 years, firstly PA Consulting then in his own firm specialising at Strategy and Strategic Implementation; and before that in The BOC Group heading divisional IT.
Tim has an MBA from Henley Management College and a degree in Industrial Design from Brunel University.
