Carol joined Deloitte in Jan 2017 to lead our Public Sector Change Risk team after a career which included previous consulting roles and 12 yrs in Central Government, most recently as the Director in DWP responsible for Performance and Portfolio Management and Assurance.

Having worked at a senior level across the Public Sector Carol has an excellent knowledge of the opportunities and challenges large, complex organisations face as they seek to maintain oversight and control while driving efficiencies and responding to a changing external environment. She uses this experience to understand and meet client requirements - delivering advice, insight and assurance in a focussed and practical way.

Since joining Deloitte Carol has worked with a range of clients – including leading work at Ministry of Justice on the design of a Supplier Risk Management Framework, and providing programme assurance/transformation support at the Post Office, Nuclear Decommissioning Authority and Police Scotland.
