Air-Commodore Marijke van der Krogt

Commander of the Personnel & Organisation Division of Defence, Royal Netherlands Air Force

Air-Commodore Marijke van der Krogt grew up near The Hague. She started working at the Ministry of Defence as a civil servant. After successfully completing a Bachelor and Master of Science studies on Human Resources she became an Air force officer in 2003. She was appointed several leadership assignments within the field of Human Resource, Learning & Development and Business consulting throughout the Ministry of Defence. On her tour in Afghanistan she was a Gender Advisor. Before attending the Royal College of Defence Studies in London (UK) in 2022, she was assigned the position of commander of the Recruitment & Employability Services.

Currently she leads the Division of Human Resources which consists of payrolling (nationally and internationally), legal services, corporate social work and other HR services for the whole of the Dutch defence workforce.

Air-Commodore van der Krogt is in a relationship and has a daughter from a previous marriage. She enjoys a wide variety of sports and leisure such as cycling, reading, wildlife and most recently paddle tennis.
