Alex Evans is a Managing Director and Head of TMT EMEA at Barclays.

He has over 25 years of corporate finance experience, with a focus on Telecom transactions.

Alex has a significant track record of dealing with a broad range of M&A, equity and debt raising transactions for clients such as Deutsche Telekom, Liberty Global, Vodafone, Orange, Telefonica and Telenor. He has significant experience executing digital infrastructure transactions in Europe – from advising Macquarie on the take private of TDC in Denmark, to Netco’s in UK, (Nex Fibre), Norway (Telenor Fibre), France (XP Fibre), The Netherlands (Glaspoort), Italy (Enel Open Fibre), Germany (E.On Netco), and Poland (Orange/APG JV).
