Powerlist Foundation
FY15 marked the third year of our successful collaboration with the Powerlist Foundation in running our leadership programme for high-potential undergraduates from African and Afro-Caribbean backgrounds. Powerlist was established to identify and support future business leaders from a diverse range of backgrounds.
Our aim is to address some of the wider social challenges regarding diversity and inclusion in leadership such as a lack of access to suitable leadership development opportunities for ethnic minorities and the need for more visible role models. The programme’s participants receive leadership development support through inspirational role models, key note speakers, mentors and buddies, as well as skills development sessions.
We also challenge the participants as tomorrow’s leaders to inspire us with their own innovative thinking about how we can resolve the type of social challenges that inspired the formation of the Powerlist Foundation and the leadership programme.
