This year, we launched the BrightStart school-leaver recruitment scheme in recognition that for some ambitious A-level (or equivalent) students a university education is not always the right option.So rather than attending university, the scheme provides young people with the opportunity to embark on a career with exceptional prospects and gain full professional business qualifications.
In FY12, we created 39 A-level entry roles to attract bright school leavers onto a combined programme of study and work experience that will culminate in a world-class professional qualification and the opportunity to grow and develop in the world’s number-one professional services firm.
BrightStart is a structured five-year programme for school leavers with a strong interest in business and finance. In addition to hands-on experience of projects within our Audit, Tax, Corporate Finance or Enterprise Risk Services teams, it provides excellent training and support to gain professional qualifications that are respected and recognised right across the business world.
Next year, we plan to double the intake through the scheme and we will be offering 75 BrightStart places.
