I joined IKEA in 1995 and always worked in the area of Customer Experience and Human Resources, in different leadership roles. In September 2015 I took a new step and joined our global organization as Global Mobility manager.

We have a central mobility team in Leiden, the Netherlands, supporting over 40 countries. Our team consists of 6 mobility advisors, 2 payroll specialists, a tax & compliance specialist and a policy & process specialist. Together we support close to a thousand assignments per year.

In April 2017, with help from Deloitte, we implemented a new mobility approach, moving from 2 to 7 global policies, focusing on Talent, Co-worker experience and Compliance.
