Aparna Nair is an experienced HR leader who is currently responsible for IBM’s host based mobility plan. In this role, she leads a team of highly talented mobility SMEs who are focused on refreshing the experiences for IBMers who get selected for these international opportunities.

Prior to this role, Aparna was the BU HR Leader for Power & Open POWER IBM Systems group. Working with Senior Business Executives, she was responsible for HR strategy, leadership development and talent management for this $5Bn sized IBM business.

Aparna’s career has been shaped by her focus on client success, ability to work in multiple functions of HR and multi –geographic experiences. Her prior experiences also include Employee Compensation both at a corporate and geo level, BU Area HR Partner, HR Strategy and Recruitment.

Aparna has completed her M.B.A. from National Institute of Management, India and is currently pursuing her Masters’ in Human Resources Management from ILR School, Cornell University. When Aparna is not working she enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures and is training for her first full marathon.
