Our curriculum at this year’s conference has four key themes running through it:
Our plenary sessions will challenge your thinking, enlighten and inspire you.
We hope that you will find the breakout sessions we have planned informative, educational, collaborative and stimulating. In terms of delivery, we have a variety of session styles, outlined below. We have endeavoured to ‘freshen up’ elements of our traditional session delivery, and have added a new iChallenge category.
We are really looking forward to collaborating and hope you are too!
iLearn sessions feature subject matter experts - typically Deloitte speakers, but can sometimes be in conjunction with client or other guest speakers - presenting on a specific subject, sharing technical, conceptual and practical insights followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
iLearn sessions are 75 minutes long and open to both client and Deloitte participants.
iShare sessions are discursive in nature and focus on a service area or theme and will typically assess different aspects of the topic at hand.
Deloitte and client facilitators will orientate participants through the session by providing relevant context and real-life case-studies. Participants can further explore these issue by sharing their own experiences and practical insights. iShare sessions last 75 minutes and are only open to client attendees.
We have selected specific sessions at this year’s conference for a shorter, sharper more focused delivery. Thus some iLearn sessions will feature a number of speakers who deliver concise information on a number of topics, followed by the opportunity for the audience to pose questions.
Elements of the iChallege afternoon will be made up of Green Dot Talks. Get ready to think fast and be challenged!
* Not to be confused with other similar short, sharp, online talks of course…
iChallenge is a dedicated interactive and energetic afternoon designed to challenge your thinking and perspective, the wellbeing of you and your employees, and your view of the future of work and mobility.
Conference client attendees will experience three different zones during the session:
The iChallenge event will be supported by Fieri. Fieri provide immersive and experiential development for individuals, teams and leaders to perform to the highest level – be it in the boardroom, the workplace, the sports pitch or in some of the world’s most challenging environments.
Founded by military veterans, Fieri is a diverse collective - from organisational psychologists to performance coaches - consisting of people with incredible stories of overcoming adversity, of succeeding against the odds and of performing under extreme pressure. They all have one goal in common - commitment to helping others succeed, whatever the challenge.
Fieri is a Deloitte Society Partner, committed to working with Deloitte as part of the One Million Futures initiative by raising aspirations, improving skills and developing leaders.
The workplace of tomorrow will be measured on the health and wellbeing of its employees, and the link between productivity and employee lifestyle is increasingly part of every CEOs key concerns. During the iChallenge Myself session associates from Fieri, with deep subject matter expertise, will deliver Green Dot Talks on resilience and wellbeing (‘Eat, Sleep, Move, Connect’) to inform you how to tweak your lifestyle – and consider the wellbeing of your mobile employees - for peak performance, happiness and good health.
EAT
Everybody knows that eating healthily has a positive impact on health, but do we really know how to eat for performance? The impact on cognitive ability of diet, blood sugar fluctuation and stimulants is significant. If you need to be on your peak performance for the challenges you face, you should be looking both long and short term about how your diet can influence success. This session will demonstrate how the fuel you put in affects your workplace performance, and will focus on:
SLEEP
We are in the midst of a sleep epidemic. Sleep is seen as desirable rather than essential as we continue to starve ourselves of this vital resource. Stress, diabetes, mental health, obesity and productivity can all be linked to quality and quantity of sleep. Top athletes now employ sleep coaches as they do nutritionists and strength and conditioning coaches.
We will demonstrate the link between sleep and performance and show you how to train yourself to sleep for peak performance. This session includes:
MOVE
‘10,000 steps’, like the ‘5-a-day’ fruit and veg intake has become a staple of health dogma. Exercise too often is a cause of stress rather than one of enjoyment. We navigate the myths and will show you some top tips for getting the right type of exercise into your daily routine in a way that isn’t daunting and doesn’t require unrealistic demands on your time. We will demonstrate how the fuel you put in affects your workplace performance. This session includes:
CONNECT
We are more connected than we have ever been, yet more people of all ages are self-reporting as lonely than ever before. We have tried to replace our primate need to interact with a virtual, digital village. This is having a demonstrable effect on our health and wellbeing. This session will explain why the ’human touch’ is so important and help you ensure that you construct your life around our needs as a social species. This session includes:
Learn • Connect • Play • Recharge
We look forward to welcoming you to our collaborative, innovation space – ‘The Park’.

This year’s conference social event on Thursday is an ‘evening soirée’ to be held at the National Gallery in Prague at St. Agnes Convent of Bohemia. For history lovers we have provided a potted history of St. Agnes below, but you will discover many more of its secrets when you explore the beautiful labyrinthine gothic building, with its many historic artefacts, and its grounds.
This special event will bring together a night of great food, fun, music, dancing and entertainment. You will be able to sample numerous outstanding local delicacies as you mingle with friends old and new. We will also provide a nicely secluded room for those interested in a certain sporting event…
We hope that you will enjoy the party, or večírek as they say in the Czech Republic!
St. Agnes Convent is one of the most important Gothic buildings in Prague, founded by the Premyslid Princess Anezka (Agnes), sister of King Vaclav I in 1231 as the first convent of the Order of Poor Clares north of the Alps. The convent was an influential spiritual centre as well as the Premyslid burial-ground. After the death of its founder its importance waned and shortly after the mid-16th century the Poor Clares were evicted and the building fell into the hands of the Dominicans. It was shut down in 1782 and thereafter used for various purposes. It was saved from demolition as part of the "Old Town Slum Clearance" through the efforts of the Union for the Renewal of the Convent of the Blessed Agnes. It was renovated in 1963 to meet the exhibition needs of the National Gallery.
